Notice of Financial Incentive & Loyalty Program
Under the CCPA and the Colorado Privacy Act (along with any implementing regulations and as may be amended, “CPA”) we are required to provide you with additional notices related to the Lazy Dog Campfire Club (“Club”). For additional information on becoming a member of the Club, the different perks and benefits, and the registration process, please visit join.ldcampfireclub.com.
We offer the Club as a membership subscription service that provides you with monthly benefits in addition to early access to special events, menus, and contests, and discounted prices for online and delivery orders in exchange for participating in the Club and our use of the personal information you provide when signing up and participating in the Club. The material terms and conditions of the Club (“Terms”) are available here and participating in the Club is subject to those Terms.
You can sign up to participate in the Club through the Club website (join.ldcampfireclub.com). When you sign up for the Club, we collect certain personal information to establish your membership and facilitate the services, including:
- Identifiers, such as participants’ name, email address and physical address;
- Additional information described in Cal. Civil Code § 1798.80(e), such as phone number and payment information (such as payment card details);
- Commercial information, such as records of members’ purchases and members’ rewards account credentials;
- Internet or other electronic network information reflecting a participants’ interactions with us and the website, in-restaurant technologies, or ads in connection with the Club;
- Geolocation data; and
- Inferences drawn from any of the above categories of information to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities or aptitudes.
You can withdraw from participation in the Club at any time by emailing us at [email protected]. If you do not want to be charged for your membership, please contact us at least 5 days prior to your next charge.
Notice of Financial Incentive for California Residents
Our good faith estimate of the value of the personal information we collect is the value of the benefits we offer to you. The factors considered in calculating this estimate include the benefit, insights and goodwill that we realize and expect to realize when they participate in the program and remain a customer; sales directly or indirectly generated from participation in the Club and the costs of the program.
Additional Disclosures for Colorado Residents
We do not collect sensitive personal information (as defined under the CPA) as part of the Club program nor is it required for your participation. We may “sell” or process the personal information collected by the Club for purposes of targeted advertising (as such terms are defined under the CPA).
We may disclose the personal information collected for the Club to:
- Our affiliates.
- Service providers or other entities who perform services for us or on our behalf. For example, we may share information with vendors who operate our services, run promotions and send emails.
- Business partners who distribute our products, help provide our services or co-sponsor a promotion with us. These partners may send you information about events and products by mail or email.
If you request to delete your personal information, you will no longer be able to participate in the Club. This is because we need this information to administer the program, including verifying your membership when you make purchases, manage your account and communicate with you.
