Lazy Dog Restaurants Launches Fall Menu Featuring New Made-From-Scratch Dishes, Craft Cocktails and Revamped Lunch Combos
(COSTA MESA, Calif.) October 9, 2024 – Just in time for fall, Lazy Dog Restaurants, a casual dining restaurant known for its handcrafted American food and drinks, welcomes a selection of new seasonal offerings, including 10 new craveable dishes, two seasonally inspired cocktails and one shareable cocktail for a larger group to enjoy. The new fall menu is available at Lazy Dog Restaurants nationwide starting October 9.
The newest menu items include:
Starters
• Pie Tin Nachos: Whoa, Nellie Mexican-Style Lager cheese sauce, guacamole, tomatoes, pickled jalapeño, Tapatío crema, queso blanco, cilantro, with the option to add chicken tinga or carnitas.
Small Plates
• Street Corn Tots: Melted mozzarella, charred sweet corn, tomatoes, Tajín-lime sauce, queso blanco, housemade hot sauce, cilantro (also available on the happy hour and late-night happy hour menus).
• Loaded Chili Cheese Tots: Chili con carne, jack, cheddar, pickled red onion, sour cream, green onions. • Lemon Pepper Tots: Lemon pepper seasoning, housemade buttermilk ranch for dipping (also available on the happy hour and late-night happy hour menus).
Soups
• Tomato Soup: Housemade with roasted red peppers, topped with garlic croutons.
• Housemade Chili: Chili con carne, jack, cheddar, tomatoes, sour cream, green onions, cornbread fries.
Mains
• Slow-Cooked Poblano Pork: Creamy poblano sauce, sweet white corn + bell peppers, topped with Tapatío crema and cilantro, served with Spanish rice and blue corn tamale cake.
• Nonna’s Giant Meatball + Baked Pasta: Beef meatball, four-cheese baked pasta, topped with slow-cooked marinara + walnut pesto, served with cheesy garlic toast.
• Braised Beef Birria Noodles: Yakisoba noodles tossed with tender slow-cooked beef, bean sprouts and cabbage, topped with queso blanco, radish, cilantro and cheddar cheese crackle, served with a side of housemade birria chili broth to pour over.
Cocktails
• Hibiscus Margarita: Lunazul Tequila, housemade spiced hibiscus syrup, agave sweet + sour, house salt rim (also available on the happy hour and late-night happy hour menus and as a shareable margarita pitcher on the happy hour menu and brunch menu for only $25).
• Tequila Old Fashioned: Altos Tequila, Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, Crème de Cacao, Cointreau, orange juice, agave nectar, mole bitters, chocolate-dipped orange with sesame + chili.
Lunch Offerings
• Candied Bacon Grilled Cheese + Tomato Soup: Candied bacon + cheddar cheese melted between Parmesan sourdough toast and served with housemade tomato soup for dipping.
In addition, Lazy Dog has revamped its build-your-own lunch combo. Guests can pick from a choice of half sandwich, a soup or salad, and a side starting at under $13. Guests can mix and match from options like the Walnut Chicken Salad or House Club with Avocado and Bacon half sandwiches paired with the new fall soups like the Tomato Soup and Housemade Chili, or salads such as the Sesame-Ginger Mixed Greens, and sides like the apple cider slaw, Cajun fries and more.
Lazy Dog’s menu focuses on elevated dishes that highlight carefully selected ingredients, as well as handcrafted cocktails and select beers from local breweries.
