Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar Welcomes Spring with New Seasonally Inspired Menu Additions

(COSTA MESA, Calif.) March 2023 – Just in time for the spring season, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, a casual dining restaurant known for its handcrafted American food and drinks, introduces new, can’t-miss menu items featuring a combination of sweet and savory dishes as well as some must-try handcrafted cocktails. Guests can also expect reimagined favorites from past menus, back by popular demand. The additions will debut at all Lazy Dog locations on April 5, 2023.

The newest offerings include:

Mediterranean Trio: Hummus, spicy feta dip, tabbouleh grains, veggies + lavash garlic chips. Also available on the happy hour and late-night happy hour menus.

Pulled Pork Sandwich: Tender pulled pork tossed in a tangy Carolina-style BBQ sauce, coleslaw + crispy onion straws.

Chicken Katsu Sando: Sandwich with crispy panko chicken breast, shredded cabbage, yuzu + pepper aioli and katsu sauce on milk bread.

Slow-Cooked Pork Carnitas: Featuring citrus + garlic marinade, roasted salsa, cabbage, black beans, Spanish rice and warm tortillas.

Lumberjack Pancake Tacos: Bacon candy, fried eggs, shredded jack + cheddar cheese, hash browns and green onions, all wrapped in buttermilk pancakes with Cajun gravy on the side. Available on Lazy Dog’s brunch menu.

Loaded Donut Holes: Made to order and drizzled with peanut butter caramel, bacon candy, sliced bananas + whipped cream. Available on Lazy Dog’s brunch menu.

Kid’s Chocolate Chip Pancakes: Chocolate chip pancakes with maple syrup and whipped cream.

Beverages

Watermelon Margarita: Lunazul Tequila, fresh watermelon, triple sec, our agave sweet + sour, and a Tajín Chamoy rim. Also available on the happy hour and late-night happy hour menus.

Patrón Paloma: Patrón Silver Tequila, grapefruit juice, our agave sweet + sour, soda water and house salt rim.

Rosé Aperol Spritz: Aperol, Tinto Rey Rosé, strawberries and soda water. Also available on the brunch, happy hour and late-night happy hour menus.

Lillet Lemon Fizz: Aviation American Gin, Lillet Blanc, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, lemon juice, mint simple syrup and soda water. Also available on the brunch, happy hour and late-night happy hour menus.

Roadtrip Bowls

Inspired by exploration and the spirit of adventure, Roadtrip™ Bowls offer high-quality, real food made in-house with a blend of ingredients and textures in each bowl. They’re available for takeout or delivery, and for a limited time, the bowls will also be available during lunch and dinner hours.

Falafel + Hummus Roadtrip™ Bowl: Black bean falafel, hummus, spicy feta, mixed greens, tabbouleh grains, cucumbers, heirloom tomatoes, radishes, lemon vinaigrette and tzatziki sauce.

Chicken Katsu Roadtrip™ Bowl: Crispy chicken breast, steamed white rice, pickled sunomono cucumbers, sesame-marinated edamame beans, green onions, shredded cabbage, katsu sauce, and yuzu + pepper aioli for dipping.

Spring Menu Tasting Event

Guests will also have the opportunity to taste and sip their way through some of the new menu items before they’re available across all restaurants. Lazy Dog will offer a spring menu tasting event featuring a four-course menu April 2, 3 and 4 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at all locations.
